Wijnand is a hydrogeochemist and hydrogeologist providing support to entities in the natural resources sector. He specialises in the assessment and management of water related considerations throughout project life cycles, from baseline studies and impact assessments through to operational activities and closure planning. In addition to projects undertaken in Australia he has on the ground experience delivering projects in various countries across Africa, South-East Asia and New Zealand.

Josh’s technical background is in environmental geochemistry management where he specialises in the development and implementation of company-wide mineral waste management systems.

Paul is a Director for Hydro Geochem Group based in Christchurch, New Zealand. He has been involved in the environmental geochemistry research and operational management for 20+ years and has been an author for over 70+ publications. Paul is also a Director and Principal Environmental Geochemist for Mine Waste Management.
Terry Harck

Terry is a mine water specialist combining geochemistry and hydrogeology. He has been practicing as a consultant for over 30 years in Southern Africa and Australia. Terry is enthusiastic about data analysis and reporting – and mixing a cocktail at the end of the day.
Ryan Burgess

Ryan is a Senior Hydrogeologist with 12 years’ consulting experience, focusing on hydrogeological aspects of mining, from permitting through to closure. He advises on multiple aspects of mine water management including hydrogeology, mine dewatering and pit slope management, mine water supply, environmental assessments, groundwater contamination, and closure aspects. Through his varied experience, he is able to blend expert knowledge gained through field investigations with his accomplished modelling skills to support decision making for strategic and operational mine planning.
Marija Tutulić

Marija has a PhD in water resources engineering with experience in hydrogeology, water resources engineering, and project management. She has delivered projects for clients in the mining, transportation, and power sector, as well as local government in Western Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Grant is a hydrogeologist with experience in contaminated site hydrogeology, mining hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry. He has experience with clients in the mining, energy, manufacturing, industrial and government sectors across Western Australia and New South Wales. He has special interests in data analytics, geological modelling, reporting and site work.

Logan is a hydrogeologist with 5 years experience within the mining, infrastructure and environmental industries, working on a range of projects across New Zealand and Australia. He has experience conducting field programmes involving drilling and hydraulic testing and enjoys analytical and numerical groundwater modelling.

Simon joins us with an MSc from Curtin University (in water quality and treatment). He has previously worked as a research scientist in water quality research and has recent experience as a project hydrogeologist working on water bore drilling programs in Western Australia.
Kristina Paternoster
Executive Assistant
Kristina is an Executive Assistant based in the Perth office and is responsible for both office management and providing direct support to HGG’s Operations Director. Kristina has worked for one of Australia’s leading commercial free-to-air television networks for 7 years providing administrative support to the senior executive team. In addition to her HGG roles, Kristina also provides administrative support to fellow Green Road companies, Mine Waste Management and Resource Stack.
Kathryn Hunter
Executive Assistant
Kathryn is based in the Christchurch office and has 20+ years’ experience within the mining and engineering industries. With a background in health and safety administration, project/event management, and general office management, Kathryn adds great value to HGG and other Green Road companies.
Nicole Bignold
Project Coordinator
Nicole is based in Perth as a Project Coordinator, coming on board to assist our project teams as well as providing administrative support to other Green Road companies. Nicole has previously worked as a Recruitment Consultant experienced in mobilisation within mining. With almost 10 years of experience in administrative roles and more recently focusing on the mining industry and underground drilling, Nicole will add great value to the Green Road Team.
Jennifer Hyde

Jen provides direct administrative support to our Perth-based Team and has been providing valuable support to our Christchurch Team. Prior to that Jen spent 15 years at a Big Four bank in Sydney and New York providing dedicated administrative support to senior executives.
Katie Dixon
Office Administrator
Katie provides valuable administrative support to our Perth and Christchurch Teams. She has great industry experience as a project administrator and is also studying a Bachelor’s degree in Geology at the Queensland University of Technology.
Jaclyn Pearce
Bookkeeper and Administrator
Jaclyn has been the bookkeeper for Hydro Geochem Group (HGG) since its conception in 2020, while also providing valuable support to the HGG leadership and administrative teams. In addition to her HGG roles, Jaclyn also provides bookkeeping and administrative support to fellow Green Road companies, Mine Waste Management and Resource Stack.
